This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Noyes Pond is close by; an afternoon playing golf at Westminster Country Club Lobby is always a diversion. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Millers River, and Pine Ridge has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. A quick visit to West Wachusett Brook close to Bickford Pond is a good       idea, and there's great hiking along the Wapack Trail. Why not camp at Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds if you're here at Bickford Pond, and people from Worcester love to come here. Just can't get enough of Bickford Pond. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Wachusett Mountain, and a great close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Westminster. High temperatures at Bickford Pond during the days of summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are typically                  in the 50's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bickford Pond are in the 0's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bickford Pond a wet place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. But wait, there's more to do next to Bickford Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Mare Meadow Reservoir, and Colonial Hotel is a tremendous location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
