Go to Berry Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Berry Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Lulu Cascade, and if you need a site to stay Jiminy Peak is a brilliant choice. A quick visit to Red Oak Brook in close proximity to Berry Pond is a delightful idea, and swamps don’t sound that delightful but Tilden Swamp near Berry Pond is relatively delightful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Pontoosuc Lake Country

A wonderful nearby hotel is BENTLEY BROOK RESORT; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Beaver Pond. Near Berry Pond you locate the Brickhouse Mountain Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail; Berry Pond is not far at all from Pittsfield. and you could always explore Goodrich Hollow. What a place this is for outdoors people. Lakes? Sure, Beaver Pond is in close proximity, and Berry Pond is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites
is a glorious site to camp nearby. For the period of the summertime here at Berry Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are
normally in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Berry Pond tend to be in the 10's. Berry Pond is a pretty wet place generally with a good deal of rainfall; through June this area sees the most rain while February
is generally the driest month. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Bousquet, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Konkapot Brook. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things right
next door to Berry Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Green River offers some perfect whitewater, and the skiing at Jiminy Peak is perfect. At Berry Pond you can observe Berry Hill, and going for a hike on the Turner Trail is always a delightful adventure.

If you just need skis for the day the Rental Shop entrance is right next door. Purchase your tickets at the front of Crane Lodge, and sign up for lessons in the lower level of JJ's Lodge. You can make all the stops that you need on your way to the slopes in one convenient area!

Alps Family Campground
 | 12 miles away this is a gREAt campground for people with children. They make you feel great about camping. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it. I advice any parents that have have kids to take them there........they WON'T be disapointed... |
