Berle Dam is a charming spot close to Berle Pond, and Brookside Col is absolutely a fine site to explore. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in the vicinity of Berle Pond has to offer. Going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a great adventure. Lakes? Sure, Fountain Pond is in close proximity. Berle Pond really is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. You get a great panorama of Squaw Peak from Berle Pond,

| | and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GREAT BARRINGTON. Berle Pond is a wet location that gets a great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Berle Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Glade Campground is a glorious place for that, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Elbow Trail. | |

Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Barbieri Reservoir; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a good place to spend a night or two. Through the warm months here at Berle Pond, high
temperatures typically reach the 80's; the nighttime is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Berle Pond tend to be in the 0's.
There are some perfect whitewater spots on Bash Bish Brook. The Wild Cat Trail is a great hiking trail near Berle Pond, and lots of people from Pittsfield come here. Greenock Country Club is a brilliant golf course close by; everybody
nearby loves skiing at Bousquet. The skiing at Ski Butternut is perfect; you can stay the night at Camp Half Moon. This lake is so wonderful. Muddy Brook is a stunning stream that is worth a visit; get yourself into a kayak and hit Konkapot Brook.
