There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Contoocook River, and the peak of Kendall Hill can be seen from Bents Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Millers River, and Waite Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. During your journey to Bents Pond you'll meet some people from Worcester for sure; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Pine Ridge. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors cool stuff in the vicinity of Bents Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Do go to Ramsdall Pond in the neighborhood of Bents Pond, it's a charming lake, and you can take a little journey to Bents Pond Dam since you're here at Bents Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover
everything Bents Pond has to offer, you can camp at Pout and Trout Family Campground, and Super 8 Gardner is a magnificent place to get some rest. During the months of summer highs here at Bents Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun
is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bents Pond are in the 0's. Near Bents Pond you stumble on the Parker Trail which is a great hiking trail, and great skiing awaits you at Wachusett Mountain.
