Benton Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the County Road Trail; there's some attention-grabbing stuff to spot at Otis Reservoir Dam near Benton Pond. You'll meet a lot of folks from Pittsfield here, and whitewater paddling is nice on Fall River. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Benton Pond is excellent! All the outdoors fun stuff close to Benton Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Paddling on Farmington River - West Branch is so much fun, and do pop by Big Pond, it's a wonderful lake. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Benton Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, | |

and nighttime lows in the 10's for Benton Pond. Camping at Benton Pond is nice fun, J and D Marina is a nice local campground, and going for a hike along the Richard Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
If the weather is brilliant here at Benton Pond, you can go for a hike along the Link Trail, and do put some time aside to spend at Otis Falls since you're here at Benton Pond. Larkum Hill is a peak you can make out from Benton Pond,
and you can hit the slopes at Blandford close by. Knox Trail Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest; Laurel Ridge Camping Area is a magnificent campground here.
This lake is so wonderful. Otis Ridge has splendid slopes and
a friendly staff; Kibbe Point is rather close. All the water falling down from the sky makes Benton Pond a wet place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest.
