Benson Pond is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Bissellville Campground is a glorious spot to camp nearby; let's not forget Bilodeau Brook which is a stream that you may come across while here. Benson Pond is not the only site nearby, Muddy Pond is a nearby lake, and you can run the rapids of Walker Brook. If you're       a golfer then a great close by course is Bass Ridge Country Club, and get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Westfield River - West Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Lee/Berkshires/Outlet Area is a pleasant location to get some rest; there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Cheshire Harbor Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Benson Pond. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Otis Ridge                  is close to Benson Pond, and there are magnificent spots to look at along the Circle Trail. The warmest time of the year at Benson Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Benson Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Summit Hill Campground is a great campground nearby; Berkshire East is a great local ski area. On a gorgeous day you obtain a vista of Crane Hill from Benson Pond, and going for a hike on the Thunderbolt Ski Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Benson Pond. If you need a spot to stay Travelodge Pittsfield is a nice choice, and if you've had enough of Benson Pond, Tracy Pond is close by.
