Bennett Pond is always a pleasure to visit. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bennett Pond a wet site; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Bennett Pond you can take a hike along the Great Island Trail, and this vicinity is dominated by the Dunes of the Provincelands. Going for a hike along the Beach Forest Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a fine spot to have a look at close by is Wood End Bar. Throughout the months of summer at Bennett Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 60's. are in the 20's. If the weather is tremendous here at Bennett Pond, you can go for a hike along the Small Swamp Trail, and Bennett Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Coastal Acres Camping Court is a splendid local
campground.
Be careful coming to Bennett Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. A good close by hotel is Four Gables Cottages and Stes, and one of the best things about this spot is its proximity to Herring Cove Beach.
Camping at Dunes' Edge Camp Ground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Bradford House & Motel is a nice site to spend a night or two; on a perfect day you can explore Long Point Marshes,
a swamp close to Bennett Pond.
A spree to Cape Cod National Seashore is worthwhile, and unsurprisingly, this is a delightful region for folks who like lakes, Blackwater Pond is a lake in close proximity.
