The beauty of Bems Pond is reason enough to stop by. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Wachusett Mountain, and if you came for an overnight stay Pout and Trout Family Campground is a splendid place to camp. An afternoon playing golf at Westminster Country Club Lobby is always a diversion; Clarion Hotel Colonial Hotel is a fine site to get some rest.

Bems Pond gets a large amount of water; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February. All through the months of summer here at Bems Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Contoocook River near Bems Pond, and Bems Pond Dam has perfect water scenery. The snow is glorious at Pine Ridge, and Bems Pond is not the only spot close by,
Bickford Pond is a close by lake. Perry Hill is beautiful and can be observed from Bems Pond, and Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds is a glorious campground here.
This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to run into some wonderful folks from Worcester here; get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Millers River.
