Dry warm beds await you at Johanna's Motel & Restaurant, and why not head up to Catamount and strap some skis to your feet. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Becker Pond. There's whitewater on Housatonic River for all you adrenaline junkies. Lakes are fine; Hunts Pond is a lake that's near Becker Pond.

There are some good whitewater spots on Bash Bish Brook; an afternoon playing golf at Undermountain Golf Course is always a diversion. Don't leave Becker Pond without first going for a hike along the Elbow Trail, and a delightful location nearby is Sages Ravine. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Bear Rock Falls will fill your soul with wonderful feelings, and you can go for a hike on the Northrop Trail. Guilder Brook is a stream that you may bump into during your stay,
and why not visit Garret Dam if you're here. From a precipitation point of view Becker Pond is a pretty typical spot; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is mostly the driest month.

The peak of Bear Mountain can be made out from Becker Pond, and going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a good adventure. For the period of the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Becker Pond. When the night sets in
temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Becker Pond drop into the 10's. Wake Robin Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest; why not camp at Taconic State Park Copake Falls if you're here at Becker Pond.
