Blue Hills is a delightful local ski area, and Bright Hill is delightful and can be distinguished from here. There's so much to do here at Beaver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Circle CG Farm Campground is a brilliant place for that, and you're sure to bump into some nice folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here. Beaver Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation;       of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Beaver Pond you can play some golf at Maplegate Country Club, and if you come at the right time of year, Clear and Branch offers some glorious whitewater. Time spent at State Park Beach in the vicinity of Beaver Pond is always splendid; why not take a little journey to Dix Brook                  since you're here. During the long summer days at Beaver Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's; the overnight is rather cooler of course, frequently in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Beaver Pond. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Beaver Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Spruce Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Charles River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Beaver Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a look at a swamp like Woodward Swamp while you're here at Beaver Pond, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very good place to explore. Lakes are fine; Spring Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Beaver Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Hawthorn Suites Franklin.
