Many people like to go to Beaver Pond. There's whitewater on Green River for all you adrenaline junkies, and the slopes of Jiminy Peak are so inviting nobody can resist. Yeah, come here to Beaver Pond for a great time. Dry warm beds await you at Jiminy Peak, and what would winter be without some skiing at Bousquet. | | a forest that you can go to. You can run the rapids of Konkapot Brook in close proximity to Beaver Pond, and nearby you stumble on Doty Hollow which is a good spot to visit. to see while you're here at Beaver Pond, and Beaver Pond is a nice lake nearby. The Turner Trail offers hiking at its best, and a gorgeous lake like Twin Pond is a brilliant site to go to. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course
next to Beaver Pond is Pontoosuc Lake Country Club; a quick spree to Berry Pond Creek is definitely a great idea. At Beaver Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's.
High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Beaver Pond. The yearly rainfall here at Beaver Pond is about average; July is when you get the most rain here; February
is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Ramada Limited Inn & Suites Pittsfield is a good choice; folks from Pittsfield love to come here.

 | 10 miles away this is a gREAt campground for people with children. They make you feel great about camping. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it. I advice any parents that have have kids to take them there........they WON'T be disapointed... |
