Many people like to go to Bearhole Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Homewood Suites by Hilton« Holyoke-Springfield/North, MA; get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Connecticut River. Having a good time at Bearhole Reservoir is simple. The vista of pretty Kelly Hill near Bearhole Reservoir is wonderful; you can run the rapids of Little River.

| | Reservoir, and you can go for a hike on the Richard Trail. Going for a hike on the Link Trail is always a nice adventure, and a delightful lake like Buck Pond is a nice location to visit. Really great skiing awaits you at Blandford, and Sodom Mountain Campground is a good local campground.

Road Trail. All the outdoors amusing stuff close to Bearhole Reservoir will keep you coming back many times. Since you're here at Bearhole Reservoir why not take a look at Bush Notch, and if you're a golfer then a perfect nearby course
is East Mountain Country Club. A good beach next to Bearhole Reservoir is Babbs Beach, and Chapin Pond is a wonderful lake close by.
If you came for an overnight stay Windy Acres Campground is a good location to camp; Econo Lodge
Westfield is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Ski Sundown has great slopes and a friendly staff, and Bearhole Reservoir is not far at all from Springfield. Through the warm days of summer at Bearhole Reservoir
highs are frequently in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Bearhole Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
Bearhole Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
