Go to Bear Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Soar down the rapids of Concord River in a kayak, and Greens at Thomson Country Club is a splendid golf course close by. A trip to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is worthwhile, and a day on the slopes of Bradford is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Pond is a relatively wet place usually with a good deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout November; August meanwhile is the driest month. At Bear Pond throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Lake Cochichewick if you're here at Bear Pond; it's close by; you must definitely pop by wonderful Silver Lake Town Beach since you're here.
You get a tremendous panorama of Aslebe Hill from Bear Pond, and Sunset Park is a glorious
campground nearby. Lorraine Park Campground is a good local campground; there's always Brackett Pond Dam to visit in close proximity to Bear Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express LAWRENCE-ANDOVER,
and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Blue Hills is relatively near.
