All the water falling down from the sky makes Bear Pond a wet place; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Captain's Golf
Course the is a delightful golf course nearby; Black Pond is a great lake nearby. Summertime highs at Bear Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Bear Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
