If only every location had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. There are swamps here too; Bucks Creek Marshes is in the neighborhood, and if you've had enough of Bear Pond, Blue Pond is nearby. Through the months of summer at Bear Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime comes       with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bear Pond are in the 10's. You could also pop by Black Pond if you're here at Bear Pond; it's close by, and a quick tour to Bucks Creek is certainly a pleasant idea. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do near Bear Pond. Cape Cod National Seashore is a great local destination here at Bear Pond, and going for a hike on the Fort Hill Trail is always a splendid adventure. All the water falling down                  from the sky makes Bear Pond a wet location; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Camping is available at Sweetwater Forest Camping Resort; beaches are great and Harding Beach is no exception. Avalon Point is rather in the neighborhood of Bear Pond, and after a long day outdoors Wequassett Inn Resort and Golf Club is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. You get a great view of Great Hill from Bear Pond; you can go for a hike on the Red Maple Swamp Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Favorite is a good site to camp, and since you're here you can play some golf at Captain's Golf Course the. If you need a place to stay Chatham Seafarer is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful.
