While you're here at Beagle Pond you can take a hike along the Parker Trail, and Gardner Municipal Golf Course is a golf course nearby. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Millers River, and the snow is splendid at Wachusett Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp       Howe's Camping is a glorious site to do that, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Pine Ridge is rather near. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Beagle Pond. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at Beagle Pond throughout the winter usually drop into the 0's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting                  things at Beagle Pond. You can take a little visit to Beagle Pond Dam if you're here at Beagle Pond. There's so much to do here at Beagle Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Peaceful Pines is a magnificent spot for that. The high level of precipitation makes Beagle Pond a reasonably wet site; the month with most of the rain is August; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Contoocook River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Super 8 Gardner is a great spot to get some rest. If the weather is delightful here at Beagle Pond, you can go for a hike along the White Dot Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Colonial Hotel. Going for a hike along the Harling Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; do go to Perley Brook Reservoir, it's a picturesque lake. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Beagle Pond.
