Swamps don’t sound that glorious but Great Sippewisset Marsh near Beach Pond is pretty glorious. Lakes are nice; Crocker Pond is a lake that's close
to Beach Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at West Falmouth Harbor while you're here at Beach Pond, and you can spend the day on the beach at Chappaquoit Beach. High temperatures at Beach Pond through the summertime are in
the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Beach Pond.
All the water falling down from the sky makes
Beach Pond a wet site; the month with most of the rain is November, and June is when it's the driest. Great Sippewisset Rock is a great location to take a look at nearby, and Beach Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Coolfont Resort is a glorious local campground.
