Yep, outdoors cool things to do are really plentiful here at Barrowsville Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Barrowsville Pond has to offer, you can camp at Canoe River Campground, and the snow is brilliant at Blue Hills. Barrowsville Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; November is when you get the most rain here while July is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.       There are plenty of folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here at Barrowsville Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Charles River. Barrowsville Pond is a great place to camp, Canoe River Campground is a great place, and America Hotel is a great site to get some rest. If you're here at Barrowsville Pond, you could have a look at Chartley Brook, and Chartley Pond Dam is not far at all from Barrowsville                  Pond. Hemlock Swamp is a swamp near Barrowsville Pond, and a round of golf at nearby Norton Country Club is a magnificent way to kill some time. Barrowsville Pond is not the only site nearby, Chartley Pond is a nearby lake, and dry warm beds await you at Craven's Motel. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Barrowsville Pond reach the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Barrowsville Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
