Pine Campgrounds is a good campground here, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Worcester. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Stony Brook offers some glorious whitewater, and camping at Barrett Pond is brilliant fun, Lake Shirley Beach and Campgrounds is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Drift       down the rapids of Souhegan River in a kayak, and it's a great idea to visit Baker Brook. Rockwell Pond Dam is a site that is right next door to Barrett Pond, and Barrett Pond is right by the Mitchell Hill Road. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice, and one of the major characteristics of the surroundings of Barrett Pond is Bayberry Hill. A delightful close by hotel is Leominster/Fitchburg Super 8 Motel, and if you get bored of                  Barrett Pond you could also visit nearby Colburns Reservoir. Summertime highs at Barrett Pond typically tend to be in the 70's, and the night is quite chillier of course, usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Barrett Pond fall into the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Barrett Pond a wet location; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and September is the month with the least moisture.
