Massachusetts has many beautiful lakes and Bakers Pond is one of them. Don't leave Bakers Pond without first going for a hike along the Red Maple Swamp Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Sesuit Creek, and there are plenty of folks from Barnstable Town here at Bakers Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Great Island Trail is always a glorious adventure, and Best Western Blue Rock Motor Inn is a pleasant site to get some rest.

| | Summertime highs at Bakers Pond generally tend to be in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Bakers Pond tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There are great locations to explore
along the Buttonbush Trail, and Paine's Creek Beach is a beach nearby that you can stop at. If you need a location to stay Breakers Beach Resort is a good choice, and Shady Knoll Campground is a glorious campground here. If you're
looking for a beach in close proximity to Bakers Pond, we recommend Sesuit Beach; a spree to Cape Cod National Seashore is worthwhile.
