This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Baker Pond; Mitchell Hill Road is a nice local trail, and get soaked paddling on Stony Brook. Baker Brook is near Baker Pond and is always a joy to visit; whitewater paddling is pleasant on Souhegan River. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel       - Leominster/Fitchburg Area is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and Pine Hill is clearly visible from Baker Pond. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Baker Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
