A day on the slopes of Wachusett Mountain is just what you need; dry warm beds await you at Four Points By Sheraton Leominster. Float down the rapids of Souhegan River in a kayak; while you're here you can take a hike along the Wapack       Trail. Man, is there loads of fun things to do in close proximity to Baker Pond. Maplewood Golf Course is a golf course near Baker Pond, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Worcester. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great earth it would be. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Pine Campgrounds, and if you come at the right time of year, Stony Brook offers some great whitewater.                  Baker Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain; September is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Mitchell Hill Road, and not far from Baker Pond you'll discover North Nashua River Reservoir which is a lovely lake. For the period of the warm days of summer at Baker Pond highs are frequently in the 70's, and the nighttime is rather colder of course, regularly in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Baker Pond. Duck Mill Dam is a place that is close to Baker Pond, and Leominster/Fitchburg Super 8 Motel is a glorious site to get some rest.
