There's good hiking along the Walkabout Trail, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Worcester for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very magnificent location to take a look at near Baker Pond. There's so much to do here at Baker Pond that you need to camp here       for a while, Winding Brook Camping Area is a glorious spot for that. Don't leave Baker Pond without first going for a hike along the Munyan Trail, and Clear and Branch is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do next to Baker Pond. Go for a hike on the Ross Trail; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Assabet River. Baker Pond is not the only spot nearby, Zachary Pond is a nearby lake, and if you need a site to stay Westborough Inn is a great choice.
