Baker Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; during November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Charlton Applewood Campgrounds is a splendid local campground, and if you get bored of Baker Pond you could also stop at nearby Old Shepherd Pond. Meadowside woodstock is a good campground | |

nearby; Gore Pond Dam is a lovely place. During the summer at Baker Pond highs are generally in the 80's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's,
and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Baker Pond. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great earth it would be. After a long day outdoors The Inn at Woodstock Hill is a good place to spend a night
or two; an afternoon playing golf at Royal Oaks Country Club is always a joy. What would winter be without some skiing at Pine Ridge, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Munyan Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
Woodstock Town Beach is a beach in close proximity to Baker Pond that you can stop at; the Border Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
