There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Baker Pond. On a great day at Baker Pond you can take a hike along the Red Maple Swamp Trail, and Idle Time Rv Park & Campground is a great local campground. A large amount of precipitation falls at Baker Pond; November is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Olde Tavern       Motel and Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and Baker Pond is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Atlantic Oaks RV Park is a delightful place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Boat Meadow River Marshes right next door to Baker Pond make for great spots to stop by; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Fort Hill Trail. Some of the water nearby flows, like Little Namskaket Creek, and if you want                  to hit the beach, Rock Harbor Beach is in the neighborhood. Here at Baker Pond there are plenty of folks from Barnstable Town, and the peak of Grassy Nook can be seen from Baker Pond. Skaket Beach Motel is a pleasant place to get some rest; popping by Cape Cod National Seashore is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. At Baker Pond through the summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Baker Pond are in the 20's. Be careful coming to Baker Pond, you might not ever want to return home again.
