Baker Pond is a lake worth visiting. Baker Pond is a quite wet place generally with a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Baker Pond. Atlantic Oaks RV Park is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Baker Pond. Here at Baker Pond you'll almost certainly meet some people from Barnstable Town, and Skaket Beach Motel is a good location to get some rest. Pond reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Baker Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
Cape Cod National
Seashore is a perfect location in the neighborhood of Baker Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Olde Tavern Motel and Inn. For you golfers we recommend close by Captain's Golf Course the; Baker Pond is not the only place close by,
Gould Pond is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Rock Harbor Beach is a beach in the neighborhood of Baker Pond that you can stop by, and if you came for an overnight stay Idle Time Rv Park & Campground is a great spot to
camp.
A swamp like Boat Meadow River Marshes in the vicinity of Baker Pond has lots of exciting things to see; the Red Maple Swamp Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. Going for a hike on the Buttonbush Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and while you're here, you could take a look at Little Namskaket Creek.
