If you want to hit the beach, Bank Street Beach is close by, and a tour to Cape Cod National Seashore is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Barnstable Town here, and you have to definitely stop by striking Red River Beach while you're       here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Aunt Edies Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sweetwater Forest Camping Resort, and since you're here, you could also pop by scenic Black Pond. Aunt Edies Pond frequently gets a good deal of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Aunt Edies Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's; nighttime lows during the winter for Aunt Edies Pond tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Harwichport Resort Club is a wonderful site to get some rest; going for a hike on the Buttonbush Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site.
