... served by 2 quads, 3 triples, a double, and two magic carpets.

In 2007, Jiminy Peak became the first ski resort to construct its own wind turbine on property, for the purpose of powering its operations. Named Zephyr, the turbine stands 386 feet tall, and produces about a third of the total energy requirements of the resort.

Jiminy Peak's Base Area includes a beautiful Village Center that addresses all of your needs. As you arrive and unload in the drop off area, you first notice the Paul Major welcome center. Inside you'll find the Guest Services desk, as well as a Renewable Energy Education Center. Across the way, the conveniently located Burbank Children's Center is home to Jiminy's SkiWEE and Explorer programs, and the Cub's Den Playroom. Up the steps to the Village Center, you'll find 'Just Jiminy' a logo store perfect for finding that vacation souvenir. For those of you who are interested in purchasing vacation property, visit Jiminy Realty, to learn about all of your options for owning at Jiminy Peak. Walker Island Camping
16 miles away
The staff at Walker Island was very friendly. There were many faucets located near campsites, and an outhouse, and an outlet in some sites. Our sites were located by the brook which on the other side is a busy road that large trucks occasionally rumble by. The pool was 5ft deep, compared to the 'small beach' which is literally a pile of sand plopped by the brook. No swimming in this beach. The arrow pointing to the spring is really a spring hung on a tree. Not so funny when your vacation hopes were to swim in some natural waters. Hiking may be difficult to find ask for directions....
