Ashley Pond Dam is worth stopping at since you're here, and Ashley Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Sodom Mountain Campground is a brilliant local campground. The high level of rainfall makes Ashley Pond a pretty wet spot; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. | | getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River; why not head up to Blandford and strap some skis to your feet. Connecticut River is a great whitewater spot close to Ashley Pond, and if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn SPRINGFIELD-HOLYOKE is a wonderful choice. You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Connor Reservoir is one of those close by, and if the weather is beautiful, you obtain a fine vista of Bradley Mountain | |

in the vicinity of Ashley Pond called the Richard Trail, and a great place is Bush Notch. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Homewood Suites by Hilton HolyokeSpringfield/North; there's some flowing water nearby,
Crowfoot Brook is a stream you can stop by while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Springfield come to Ashley Pond; going for a hike on the County Road Trail is always a great adventure. If you love the
outdoors, you'll go for Ashley Pond. On a glorious day at Ashley Pond you can take a hike along the Link Trail; if you've had enough of Ashley Pond, McLean Reservoir is nearby. For the duration of the summer highs here at Ashley Pond
get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are generally in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Ashley Pond.
