A visit to Ashley Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Bousquet and strap some skis to your feet, and there are great places to explore along the Wild Cat Trail. Ashley Lake truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Ashley Lake gets a large amount of water; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? | | Pond is near Ashley Lake, and close by you hit upon the Turner Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Why not camp at Bissellville Campground if you're here at Ashley Lake, and at Ashley Lake you can catch a sight of Warner Hill. Crowne Plaza Hotel Pittsfield, Massachusetts is a delightful site to get some rest; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Konkapot Brook. nice choice; Catamount is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. During the warmest time of the year here at Ashley Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. For the duration
of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Ashley Lake drop into the 10's. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Going for a hike on the Cheshire Harbor
Trail is always a good adventure, and Fernwood Forest Campground is a good local campground. You could also stop at Sandwash Reservoir while you're here at Ashley Lake; it's nearby, and golf can be played at Bass Ridge Country
Club. You're sure to come across some wonderful folks from Pittsfield here; Westfield River - West Branch has a good whitewater paddling spot close by.
