Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ashley Lake; Cheshire Harbor Trail is a glorious local trail. Lakes? Sure, Belmont Reservoir is in the neighborhood. Good hiking is available along the Turner Trail, and a pleasant close by hotel is Pittsfield Travelodge. Ashley Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is       the driest. Get dripping wet paddling on Konkapot Brook, and you'll meet a lot of people from Pittsfield here. All through the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Ashley Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Ashley Lake. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Ashley Lake has it all. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
