Many people like to go to Ashley Cutoff. This lake is so wonderful. Clear Pond Dam is not far at all from Ashley Cutoff, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Link Trail. Lots of rainfall falls at Ashley Cutoff; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Connecticut River close to Ashley Cutoff,
