     Bradford has good slopes and a friendly staff; Ames Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Norwell Campsites is a splendid local campground. If you need a spot to stay Sheraton Braintree Hotel is a great choice. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Charles River, and a round of golf at nearby Braintree Municipal Golf Course is a splendid way to kill some time. People from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy love to come to Ames Pond, and on a gorgeous day you  
   can stop at Wollaston Beach.
If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Ames Pond. A trip to Wessagusset Beach right next door to Ames Pond is always a great idea. There's so much to do here at Ames Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Prospect Lake Park is a splendid site for that. Really nice skiing awaits you at Blue Hills, and Sunset Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. A brilliant swamp next to Ames Pond is Arnold Meadow, and dry
 
               warm beds await you at Boston Marriott Quincy.
So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Ames Pond, too great to be true. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cohasset Tidal Rip, and from Ames Pond you acquire a tremendous vista of Penns Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Old Quincy Reservoir Dam is a striking place in the vicinity of Ames Pond; do stop at Cochato River while you're here at Ames Pond. An average amount of rain falls at Ames Pond; the month with most of the rain is November; July on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area, you must schedule some time for it while you're here, and do stop at Hollingsworth Pond, it's a striking lake. High temperatures at Ames Pond through the warm months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Ames Pond tend to be in the 20's.
