For the period of the warm months highs here at Ames Pond
get into the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. All through the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Ames Pond dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. So much enjoyable stuff

is a wonderful spot for that. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Blue Hills is close to Ames Pond, and at Old Quincy Reservoir Dam in the neighborhood of Ames Pond there are some interesting things to see.
On a wonderful day
it's a fine idea to spend the day at Wessagusset Beach; you can stay the night at Prospect Lake Park. A great swamp right next door to Ames Pond is Arnold Meadow, and if you need a site to stay Marriott Boston Quincy is a great choice.
