The summit of Chandler Hill can be made out from Althea Lake; camping is available at Tyngsboro Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Campground if you're here at Althea Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Assabet River offers some splendid whitewater, and if you need a site to stay Hawthorn Suites Boston Chelmsford is a glorious choice.
This lake is
so wonderful. Skiing at McIntyre is one of those things you just should do, and Nabnasset Lake Country Club is a golf course nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes Althea Lake a wet spot; November is the month that
gets the most rain while September is commonly the driest month. Scotty Hollow is a magnificent location to take a look at next to Althea Lake; don't leave Althea Lake without first paying a visit to Wicassic Falls.
