A round of golf at nearby Cranwell Resort & Golf Club is a magnificent way to kill some time, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Bash Bish Brook. Dry warm beds await you at Stockbridge Country Inn, and going for a hike on the Elbow Trail is always a splendid adventure. | |

If you need a place to stay The Red Lion Inn is a delightful choice, and if you're here, you could also go to picturesque Housatonic River Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Konkapot Brook
offers some splendid whitewater, and at Agawam Lake you can see Flag Rock. There are tremendous spots to explore along the Indian Trail; of course Agawam Brook flows through this region. Agawam Lake sees pretty high levels of
rain; the month with most of the rain is June; February is the month with the least moisture. Some great nature is available in Bowkers Woods, and you can stay the night at Maple Glade Campground. Summertime brings highs in the 80's
