trail nearby. A great deal of rain falls at Abbey Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. After a long day outdoors Lee Super 8 Motel is a glorious place to spend a night
or two, and a good vista of delightful Abbey Hill is available. Ski Butternut has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff; on a great day you can take a hike along the Wild Cat Trail. All through the months of summer highs here
at Abbey Lake reach the 80's; the night is a bit chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Abbey Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter
nights. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Pittsfield here at Abbey Lake, and a good spot to camp here at Abbey Lake is Cold Spring Campground.
