You completely should love Youngs Pond. Youngs Pond is not far at all from Hammond, and Eiland Lake Dam is a gorgeous spot. Summer at Youngs Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while Youngs Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 30's. Youngs Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall;       through March this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Taylor Creek, and Youngs Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Hyde Park is a good place to camp nearby.
