This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Bog Pond in close proximity to Yankee Pond, it's a beautiful lake. Bay Tambour is reasonably in close proximity to Yankee Pond, and if you need a place to stay Cypress Cove Lodge is a tremendous choice. The high level of rain makes Yankee Pond a rather wet spot; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. All       through the warm months here at Yankee Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Yankee Pond.
