The high level of rainfall makes Wilson Lake a rather wet place; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and September is when it's the driest. Summer at Wilson Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's; overnight lows at Wilson Lake during the winter regularly dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A quick visit       to Little Choctaw Bayou close to Wilson Lake is a delightful idea, and Lake Black Dog is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Comfort Suites Vidalia is a glorious location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Wilson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Bruin Campground is a tremendous place for that.
