Moon Lake is a wonderful lake near Williams Lake, and a pleasant visit to Moon Lake Bed is a great way to spend an afternoon. There are other places here than Williams       Lake, for example Willow Lake, and Williams Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Maplewood Park is a great local campground. If you came to camp Cash Point Landing is a good site to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn - Bossier City/Shreveport. Williams Lake ordinarily gets a lot of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here; September on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the summer months                  at Williams Lake highs are generally in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 70's.
