Sunny Point Lake is a lake close by, and a splendid close by hotel is Sheraton Shreveport Hotel. Nearby lakes? Sure, Bayou Pierre Lake is in close proximity to Whites Lake, and you'll in all probability meet some folks from Shreveport-Bossier City here. So many enjoyable things to do at Whites Lake, so little time. Some of the water close by flows, like Mile Bayou, and Tall Pines RV Park is a wonderful local campground. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Whites Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Whites Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights.
