You have to stop at Nicks Point when you're here at West Ponds. You'll need more than a day to look at everything West Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Sun Roamers RV Resort, and it's a brilliant idea to stop at Big Bayou. That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; West Ponds has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn - Picayune, and swamps are exciting spots and Jenkins Ridge Bayou near West Ponds is no       exception. Lakes are such serene spots, why not take a look at Little Cannon Lake close to West Ponds, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Picayune is a great choice. Much precipitation falls at West Ponds; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to West Ponds with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs all                  through the winter are ordinarily in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at West Ponds temperatures dip to the 30's. A stunning lake like Black Lake near West Ponds is a great spot to check out, and you'll probably meet some people from Picayune here. This lake is so wonderful.
