Sun Roamers RV Resort is a wonderful local campground, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Picayune here. A good deal of rain falls at West Ponds; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You are in close proximity to Nicks Point since you're here at West Ponds, and swamps are attention-grabbing places and Jenkins Ridge Bayou close       to West Ponds is no exception. High temperatures at West Ponds all through the summertime are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at West Ponds drop into the 30's. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in the vicinity of West Ponds. Why not camp at Lazy-j Campgrounds if you're here at West Ponds;                  dry warm beds await you at Days Inn - Picayune. Getting to Big Bayou from West Ponds is trouble-free; if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Picayune is a good choice. This is a perfect vicinity for people who like lakes.
