This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Wild Azalea Trail; do stop at Hardy Lake, it's a wonderful lake. High temperatures at Weems Lake throughout the summer are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures       at Weems Lake drop into the 30's. You'll meet a lot of folks from Alexandria here, and Mathews Brake is a nearby lake that you could explore. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. A great nearby hotel is Days Inn Alexandria, and Weems Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Rolling Hills RV Resort is a delightful local campground. All the water falling down from the sky makes Weems Lake a wet location; December is                  the wettest month with most rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Wild Azalea Trail Kincaid Spur.
