If you get bored of Wax Lake, you could also stop at nearby Towhead Lake, and if you're visiting from Morgan City, you won't be the only one. During the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Wax Lake. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 70's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 50's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Wax Lake fall into the 30's. A lake       close by is Lost Lake, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a perfect place to get some rest. Camping is available at Bergeron's Mobile Home Supply, and if you're here you should stop at Leopard Point. This lake is so wonderful. Wax Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Take a side spree to Andrews                  Bayou.
