After a long day outdoors Best Western Winnsboro is a splendid place to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Twin Lakes through the long summer days are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 70's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Twin Lakes dip into the 30's.       This lake is so wonderful. Dean Bayou is in close proximity to Twin Lakes and is always a pleasure to pop by, and taking a little journey to nearby Cooter Point is a glorious idea. The high level of rain makes Twin Lakes a pretty wet spot; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
