Twin Hole typically gets a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is August. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Twin Hole, for example Swan Lake, and a spree to close by Bossier Point is very relaxing. There's so much to do here at Twin Hole that you need to camp here for a while, Hilltop Campgrounds is a great       location for that, and there are swamps here too, Gar Lake is in the vicinity. Hargis Bayou flows through this area; you can stay the night at Grand Bayou Resort. After a long day outdoors SpringHill Suites Shreveport-Bossier City/Louisiana Downs is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. All through the warm days of summer at Twin Hole temperatures are typically in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's.
