There's so much to do here at Lac en Travers that you need to camp here for a while, Paragon Casino Resort is a brilliant location for that. Swamps can be such out of the ordinary locations, take a look at Bayou Chambre since you're here at Lac en Travers. You could also take a look at Bayou Voinche if you're here at Lac en Travers; it's nearby; if you came to camp Saline Bayou Campground is a great location       to do that. Summer at Lac en Travers comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 50's with temperatures at Lac en Travers dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Lac en Travers is not the only location nearby, Baie Sec is a nearby lake, and La Coulee a Elphege is close to Lac en Travers and is always a delight to visit.
