Swayze Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Robin's Country Leisure Park is a wonderful local campground; if you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn-Opelousas is a tremendous choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Swayze Lake a wet site; December is when you get the most rain       here, and the driest month of the year is August. At Swayze Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 70's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Swayze Lake. Be careful coming to Swayze Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again.
