Camping at Sunny Point Lake is fine fun, Hilltop Campgrounds is a fine local campground, and Sunny Point is close at hand and always delightful to have a look at. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Sunny Point Lake. The high level of rainfall makes Sunny Point Lake a pretty wet location; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is September. A good close       by hotel is Comfort Inn Shreveport. Lakes? Sure, Muddy Lake is nearby. Maplewood Park is a perfect campground here, and people from Shreveport-Bossier City love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Clarion Hotel is a wonderful choice; if you like swamps you're in luck, Tones Bayou is right close by. At Sunny Point Lake throughout the summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's.
