Lower Caney Lake
 | 18 miles away 1 PHOTO Fairly well secluded campsites and clean. All state maintained. The lake is covered in Lilly Pad and water color is generaly like coffee, and was down in the center where a man could walk all the way across as little as two weeks ago. The recent rain may have brought it up, but the bite for Largemouth has been good. The day use areas was closed, last I heard, but the lowere end boat ramp was used. Here is a pic of the bream and two channel cats from August. It was 99 degrees, but we couldn't stop. We fished in the heat so long it felt like a powerful hangover the next day. 286 bream, 2 cats, by 2 dudes, in 1 day!!!... |
