A lake nearby is Black Lake, and obviously Foster Creek flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Smith Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Bogalusa; Comfort Inn Columbia is a delightful spot to get some rest. Smith Lake is not the only site close by, Warren Lake is a close by lake. There's so much to do here at Smith Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Clear water Creek Resort is a wonderful location for

| | that. During the summertime months at Smith Lake temperatures are commonly in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Smith Lake are in the 30's. Smith Lake gets a good deal of water; most of the rain falls all through December; October is the month with the least moisture. | |
