Through the long summer days highs here at Sheppards Lake get into the 90's, and the night is a little chillier of course, frequently in the 70's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Sheppards Lake. A lot of rainfall falls       at Sheppards Lake; the month with most of the rain is December; September is the month with the least moisture. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Winnsboro, and let's not forget Bayou Falcon which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Sheppards Lake is not far at all from Natchez, and River View RV Park and Resort is a fine local campground. So many cool things to do here at Sheppards Lake, too delightful                  to be true. A beautiful lake like Riffee Lake next to Sheppards Lake is a good spot to stop at.
