This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Shrimp Lagoon. Shell Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; all through July this area sees the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Summer brings       highs in the 90's to Shell Lake while overnight lows are regularly in the 70's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 60's with temperatures at Shell Lake dipping down into the 40's during winter nights.
