During the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 90's at Shanty Lake; the night is somewhat cooler of course, typically in the 70's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Shanty Lake. That right there is lots already, but it continues;       Shanty Lake has it all. This lake is so wonderful. There are swamps here too; Brushy Bayou is in the neighborhood, and Oak Harbor On Lake Concordia is a great local campground. Lakes? Sure, Dry Lake is close by; dry warm beds await you at Budget Inn. A lot of rainfall falls at Shanty Lake; December is the wettest month with most rain while September is usually the driest month.
